"Mark did an excellent job of setting up my telecaster"
His attention to detail and craftmanship set him apart from just about every guitar tech out there. His prices are more than reasonable and he's a super nice guy to boot.

"Wow, I just got my gibson les paul back from Mark. Impressive work."
Wow, I just got my gibson les paul back from Mark. Impressive work. He did go over the frets and fretboard, adjust the neck, intonate it and made adjustments to my string gauges. Also included were a lube of the saddles and nut. Plays better than ever and I have own it since new back in 1979. He is now doing my strat. Highly recommend! Update : I got my strat back after having problems with it for years. It has been set up before by a local pros and still wasn't right. I then searched online for every possible floating strem trem set-up and they were all ok but had either tuning problems or lacked the "chime" that a strat gets when it's spot on. So enter Mark, I told him what I wanted and he got it done. My strat plays like none that I have ever played. Stays in tunes, trem works fine, but more important it now has a "punchiness" that I lacked before. Think Henry Garza or Stevie Ray Vaughnn , yeah that kind of punch. Also it pays very fast now, with little effort. A pleasure to play. Short turnaround time as well.

"Mark is patient, and inspires, and a teenager with some attitude thinks he's the best. "
My 16 year old son has Mark (Nuke) as guitar teacher. Mark is patient, and inspires, and a teenager with some attitude thinks he's the best. I guess the main thing is that my son gains confidence at just about every lesson. Mark pushes him to learn, at the right speed so that he can succeed. Mark tailors lessons to my son's music. Hopefully Mark will be available for a long time.

"cant wait to take some lessons."
I needed someone to do some work on a nice gibson acoustic electric i recently bought. the guitar needed a setup and more. Mark took it and shaved down the saddle perfectly as well as adjusting the neck to perfection. the action is superb and playability at its maximum potential. he did this for less money then the 'other guys' and he did it in much less time. most importantly he did a real great job. But there is so much more here then just a great setup. the proffesionalism and humanity with which Mark operates is simply becoming a rarity. here is a man who is among the absolute best in the business and yet acts so mellow you feel like he has been your best friend for years. his skill level is matched by his humility and good character. he did not insult me or patronize me with his attitude like some other guys i called who were recommended. instead, Mark talked to me like a regular musician and we immediately saw eye to eye. he was very considerate in every part of the process from asking me if i was ok with the work he was going to do and making sure i was happy with the work after i came to pick up the guitar. needless to say i was more then satisfied. I dont want to go into namebashing here but there are other guys in the area who may be 'recommended' for their good work. call around and you will soon find that the competition cannot compete. if you want to pay 90 bucks for a setup and wait 2 weeks or more to get your guitar back, there are plenty of places to go. if you want a great job done swiftly so you can get your axe back and play- Mark is the guy for you. and his rates are much much more reasonable then the 'competition' or lack thereof. bottom line you are gonna get a great job from an awesome guy at a very reasonable rate. cant wait to take some lessons.

" I would definitely bring my guitars to him again, and won't hesitate to recommend him to my friends."
I found Mark through Craigslist and looked him up on Yelp. He did work on two electric guitars for me, an Ibanez RG and a PRS CE24. I was impressed with Mark in every way. From his responsive communication, to his fair prices, and excellent quality of work. I would definitely bring my guitars to him again, and won't hesitate to recommend him to my friends.

"Cool guy!"
I had intonation problems with my Martin acoustic guitar. Mark did a great job fixing it. He has years of experience being a guitar tech for some major bands. Cool guy!

"Go to Mark!"
It's just plain amazing what you get for the price of Mark's services. I took my Gretsch Electromatic there for a setup and some general TLC, and I got it back sounding better than it did when I got it out of the box. He replaced frets, fixed a scratchy tone knob, adjusted my pickups, took care of an issue with my tremolo bar, lubricated everything, and polished my guitar up to a sheen I've never seen on it, all for an extremely reasonable price. When I picked the guitar up, he had me play it to make sure everything was to my liking. Turns out the action was a bit low, so he adjusted it right there. It seems that he treats every guitar as if it were his own and genuinely cares that you're happy with the results. Not to mention, he's just a really nice guy. That's the kind of service you want from a guitar technician. Go to Mark!

"I have been a client of Mark's for over two years. His work is precise, sensitive and superb."
Recently I got my Ovation Adamas II back from Mark and the fretboard has never felt more righteous. I play jazz and fingerstyle professionally, so I am very particular about how I want the neck to feel. Now when I play it feels like I can efficiently and freely express myself exactly the way I want and need to. I highly recommend Mark's technical talents. I'm fairly certain that he has found a way to telepathically communicate with his clients' fingers.
